We hope that organizations within your networks will sign onto this statement, especially those in the MENA and Asia regions and Global South. This statement goes beyond an expression of solidarity to make specific demands of the UN, governments and donors. Those who are interested in helping can advocate for some of the demands in this statement as well.

We will collect signatures for this statement until 10:00am EDT Thursday October6, 2022 so we can publish it later that day.Also please take a look at and share two reports we have published on WHRDs who have been arrested since the start of the protests. We have a third publication highlighting student activists who have been arrested, which should be published on Tuesday.
